Please read important information below
- This race will be conducted with COVID -19 guidelines in place and adhere to City, State and USATF guidelines.
- If you feel unwell the day of the run, please stay home.
- If you are unable to make the run, please call/text 361-947-1540 or email vfittrainingcenter@yahoo.com
- Sign up for a wave 1,2,3 or 4. 25-50 participants per wave. Wave 1 starts at 7:30 AM each following wave starts 1 min after the previous wave. Your finish time for awards is based on your chip time.
- Bib Pickup will be held the morning of the run starting at 6:30 am
- Runners warming up and waiting for their wave start must practice social distancing measures.
- The DJ will announce wave number allowed to enter the starting corral.
- Only the current wave will be allowed in the starting corral. Once one wave of runners leaves the next wave will be allowed to enter the starting corral.
- Runners can run with their own water and a table will be set up with 8 oz water bottles where runners can grab their own water at the 5K turnaround.
- No awards, free chip timing only.
- (10K info: The 10K will be a double loop of the 5K course)

So happy to have attended this morning... beautiful day. Very professional and a whole lotta fun. Social distancing made me feel safe & no issues other than that. Keep em coming!
They put on such a wonderful event! Running next to the ocean was beautiful. The hills made it fun and challenging. They provided free bibs and bib times. It was very professionally done. They had music and several health and wellness events going on. Fun for the whole family!
