The race was amazing and the pre packet pick ups was also phenomenal. Wish the city showed up for all of us running along the routes more, super thankful for everyone that did the energy helped push us through. My only downfall was the medals were not what we were expecting. Everyone I talked to assumed we’d get medals reflecting the bayfront which is one of the reasons I signed up for the half, only to find out the medal was different a few days before race day which discouraged me from running a bit. Over all had fun and enjoyed the experience. The burgers, beer and hotdogs were delicious too. There were the perfect amount of water stations and the gel packets were a life saver too at the turn around point.
