Run the District 5K/10K

Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront and State Representative Todd Hunter are excited to announce the Run The District 5K/10K scheduled for December 12, 2020. We invite you to sign up for a free chipped timed run/walk at the beautiful Bayfront, starting at the Waters Edge Park to American Bank Center and back.

Date: December 12, 2020

Time: 7:30AM for 1st wave 

Please read important information below

• This race will be conducted with COVID -19 guidelines in place and adhere to City, State and USATF guidelines.
• Temperature checks at check in.
• Online registration only no race day registration. Limited to the first 100 runners/walkers.
• Sign up for a wave 1,2,3 or 4. 25-50 participants per wave. Wave 1 starts at 7:30 AM each following wave starts 1 min after the previous wave. Your finish time for awards is based on your chip time.
• No Race Day registration!
• Bib Pickup will be held the morning of the run starting at 6:30 am
• Runners warming up and waiting for their wave start must practice social distancing measures.
• The DJ will announce wave number allowed to enter the starting corral.
• Only the current wave will be allowed in the starting corral. Once one wave of runners leaves the next wave will be allowed to enter the starting corral. 
• Runners can run with their own water and multiple tables will be set up with 8 oz water bottles where runners can grab their own water.
• No awards, free chip timing only.
• (10K info: The 10K will be a double loop of the 5K course)
