8:01 am 5K and 2-Mile Walk Start
8:30 am Pancake Breakfast Begins

$30 Run/Walk (until 1/10/25)
$35 Run/Walk (after 1/10/25 - Race Shirts Not Guaranteed)

SCHOOL RUNNING CLUBS:
1-14 entries: $20* per entry
15+ entries: $15* per entry
*A school discount code based on group count will be created for digital sign up.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE THIS YEAR! T-shirts will not be guaranteed with registrations received after January 10, 2025. Breakfast is not guaranteed for race day registrations.
ROUTE: Race route will begin and end at Yorktown Christian Academy with a loop on Oso Parkway and Staples. There will be water and aid stations along the course. (Race maps shown below.) No skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, or pets allowed. Strollers must start at back of pack.
AWARDS: Medals will be given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place male and female runners in each age division, as well as to overall male and female runners. Runners cannot receive more than one award. The 2-mile run will not be timed.

8 & under 9-11 12-14 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60+
PACKET PICK-UP: Race packets may be picked up at Yorktown Christian Academy on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. *Packets will not be mailed
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Race bib is required for entry. Additional breakfast tickets can be purchased for $5.00 each during registration or on race day.

The Yorktown Christian Academy Annual Lions Run is an outstanding event that perfectly blends fitness, fun, and community spirit! Whether you’re a seasoned runner tackling the 10K, enjoying the 5K, or participating in the family-friendly 2K, this event offers something for everyone. The organization was seamless from start to finish—easy registration, clearly marked courses, and enthusiastic volunteers who kept the energy high throughout the race. The course was well-designed with plenty of water stations and encouraging cheers along the way. One of the best parts of the Lions Run is how family-friendly it is. Seeing kids, parents, and even grandparents participating together truly highlights the event’s mission of bringing people together through health and fellowship. A unique treat after the race was a delicious pancake breakfast. It was the perfect way to refuel, relax, and connect with fellow runners and supporters. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made it feel like more than just a race—it was a true community celebration. The event wrapped up with an extensive awards presentation that recognized runners of all ages and abilities. It was inspiring to see so many participants celebrated for their efforts, with a special focus on encouraging young runners and families. If you’re looking for a well-organized race that offers more than just miles—think community, fun, and a plate of pancakes—the Yorktown Christian Academy Lions Run is a must-attend!
