SUBJECT: St Patrick’s Day Festivities tomorrow are CANCELLED

Dear Shamrock Shufflers,

It is with deep regret that we announce that the 6th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk and 1K Leprechaun Chase, has been cancelled. As a result of the increasing concerns over the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), this morning, the City of Corpus Christi has pulled ALL the permits for the events scheduled for this weekend. Without a permit from the city, we are unable to host the 6th Annual Shamrock Shuffle. We apologize to our runners and supporters for any inconvenience this decision has created. As you know, 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to support programs at St Patrick School. With the support from the previous Shuffles, St. Patrick School has be able to provide acceleration and enrichment programs, new athletic equipment, playground improvements, and enhancements to the school. Although there will not be a race, we are still making t-shirts and race packets available for those of you who have already registered. T-shirts and race packets can be picked up today (Friday, 13th) at FLEET FEET, from 12 noon to 6 pm. We are also offering a Shamrock Shuffle 5K Virtual Race for all of our runners.
