Embracing Brave 5k and fun run Race Description

Join us for a 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run for our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! Embracing Brave (previously Just for J, Inc.) is a nonprofit organization raising awareness and funds for children facing medical challenges. We are so excited to have you join us to support our mission! Embracing Brave is committed to all CDC recommended safety guidelines in order to ensure a safe and fun event. We have in person and virtual options to participate! 

Kids, families, wheelchairs, pets, runners, walkers, joggers: ALL WELCOME! T-shirts are guaranteed to pre-registered participants. Our event will be chip timed by Cox Racing Services. Race day registration is available for a $5 extra fee starting at 7:30am the day of the event. Awards for top finishers, DJ, raffle, and more will all be at our event.

YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT!

If you’re running virtually this year, you can complete your race anytime from May 14th - May 21st. You can submit your time for the virtual runner award category via Just for J website. Submissions must include a screenshot of distance and time through any running fitness app. All times must be submitted by midnight on May 21st. Winners will be announced the following day.
