Join us for the Dreaming of Furever 5K, a fun and meaningful run/walk benefiting Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and their life-changing work in South Texas. Whether you’re racing for a personal best, jogging with friends, or walking alongside your four-legged companion, every step you take helps animals in need.

Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue is dedicated to reducing the stray animal population in South Texas by providing critical resources for spay and neuter services for stray, shelter, and owned pets. Through community education, the rescue works to raise awareness about the importance of spay and neuter, responsible pet ownership, and local city ordinances designed to protect both animals and the community.

Proceeds from the 5K also support efforts to educate pet owners, connect families with assistance resources, and promote compassionate animal advocacy. By encouraging responsible adoption and fostering a culture of kindness, Dreaming of Furever helps cats and dogs find the loving, forever homes they deserve.

This event is more than a race—it’s a chance to come together as a community to take action, inspire change, and give animals a second chance. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, and leashed, friendly dogs are encouraged to participate.
